Summary
This study follows over 32,000 people from Linxian, China, who previously took part in a nutritional trial testing vitamins and minerals to prevent esophageal and stomach cancer. The original trial found that certain supplements reduced cancer risk and deaths. Now, researchers are continuing to monitor participants for several more years to see if those benefits last, and to collect blood samples and health data for further research.
