Cooking your way to a sharper mind: new study tests Food's power against dementia
NCT ID NCT06853405
Summary
This study is testing whether a 6-month program focused on nutrition education, healthy cooking classes, and at-home brain exercises can help prevent cognitive decline in adults at higher risk for dementia. Researchers will enroll 120 adults aged 55-85 and randomly assign them to either receive this lifestyle program or continue with their usual care. The goal is to see if improving diet and activity habits can protect memory and thinking skills over time.
