Summary
This study tested whether a structured nursing care program could help reduce common and distressing side effects of chemotherapy in people with colon cancer. It focused on easing fatigue, nerve pain in hands and feet (peripheral neuropathy), and anxiety. The program was based on a model of care that helps patients conserve their energy and adapt to treatment.
