First seen Feb 06, 2026 · Last updated May 08, 2026 · Updated 14 times

Summary

This study looked at whether regular check-ins by a nurse could catch early signs of rheumatoid arthritis (RA) returning in patients taking the drug rituximab. 51 adults with RA who were in remission or had low disease activity took part. The idea was that nurse monitoring might spot a relapse sooner than standard doctor appointments, helping patients get treatment faster.
