First seen Jun 26, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study tests whether practicing nunchaku exercises can reduce pain and improve movement in middle-aged and older adults with frozen shoulder. Fifty participants will be split into two groups: one doing nunchaku exercises and the other doing standard shoulder stretches and strengthening. Researchers will track pain, disability, and how often people practice at home over 12 weeks and beyond.

What this could lead to

If it works, this could offer a fun, low-cost exercise option to reduce shoulder pain and improve mobility for people with frozen shoulder.
