Summary
This study tests whether a dietary supplement called nicotinamide riboside (a form of vitamin B3) can be safely taken by adults with moderate chronic kidney disease. The main goal is to see if it's feasible for participants to take the supplement daily and complete study procedures. The study also explores whether NR affects markers of cellular energy, blood vessel function, and physical function. Participants will take NR and a placebo in random order, each for 12 weeks, without knowing which they are taking.
