First seen Nov 20, 2025 · Last updated May 08, 2026 · Updated 18 times

Summary

This study aims to see if a simple stool test can accurately diagnose Helicobacter pylori infection in children, avoiding the need for an invasive endoscopy under anesthesia. The test uses PCR technology to detect the bacteria and antibiotic resistance in stool samples. Researchers will compare the stool test results with standard biopsy results from 188 children to determine its accuracy.
