Researchers map blood thinner levels to improve safety
NCT ID NCT04611893
Summary
This study aimed to establish standard reference ranges for blood levels of three common blood thinners (NOACs) in ethnic Chinese patients with atrial fibrillation. Researchers measured drug levels in 308 patients' blood before and after taking their medication to create these reference points. The goal is to help doctors better monitor these medications and potentially improve safety by understanding what typical drug levels look like in this population.
