First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study tests a less invasive heart bypass surgery that avoids touching the main artery (aorta) to reduce risks. About 260 people with coronary artery disease will either get this new technique through a small chest incision or standard open-chest bypass. The main goal is to see if the new method keeps bypass grafts open just as well as the standard approach.
