NCT ID NCT07213193

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 28 times

Summary

This study looks at whether it is safe to avoid creating a stoma (a surgical opening in the belly) after removing part of the bowel during ovarian cancer surgery. About 395 women with advanced ovarian cancer who are at low risk for complications will be followed. The goal is to see if a no-stoma approach can work without increasing serious leaks from the bowel connection.
