NCT ID NCT06953375

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tests whether using mild electrical pulses on the thigh muscle can help people regain strength and movement faster after total knee replacement. About 3,250 patients will be randomly assigned to receive either standard physical therapy or standard therapy plus electrical stimulation. The goal is to see if this simple addition can reduce long-term weakness and improve daily function.
