Could skipping midnight snacks stop cancer? nightly fasting study explores prevention

NCT ID NCT05565638

Summary

This study tested whether fasting for 14 hours overnight could help prevent blood cancer in overweight people with early-stage blood cell conditions. 23 participants were randomly assigned to either follow the fasting schedule or receive general healthy lifestyle advice for 4 months. Researchers measured changes in body composition and blood markers to see if nighttime fasting might be a practical prevention strategy.
