Night owls beware: late bedtimes may spike blood sugar

NCT ID NCT06507722

First seen May 13, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026

Summary

This study looks at how your natural sleep type (night owl vs. early bird) affects blood sugar control in overweight young adults aged 18-23. Researchers will compare glucose tests and meals given at times that match or clash with each person's internal clock. No treatment is given—the goal is simply to understand the link between sleep timing and metabolism.
