Night light makes sleep loss worse for your blood sugar?

NCT ID NCT04868539

Summary

This study aimed to understand if artificial light at night makes blood sugar problems from not getting enough sleep even worse. Researchers studied 14 healthy adults who spent over a month in a lab under controlled sleep and light conditions. They specifically tested how one week of short sleep with extra nighttime light compared to short sleep with normal darkness affected the body's ability to process sugar.
