Summary
This study looked at whether a toothpaste made from black seed (Nigella sativa) can lower signs of gum inflammation in Indonesian soldiers with gingivitis. One hundred soldiers used the toothpaste, and researchers measured certain markers in their saliva to see if inflammation decreased. The goal was to find a natural way to help control gum disease.
