Can a camera predict skin treatment success?
NCT ID NCT05923060
First seen Feb 14, 2026 · Last updated May 11, 2026 · Updated 10 times
Summary
This study tested a new video device that takes pictures of actinic keratoses (rough, scaly skin patches) during light therapy. The goal was to see if the device could predict how well the treatment works by measuring certain chemicals in the skin. Fourteen adults with at least 10 lesions on their arms or legs took part. The study was completed and focused on learning, not on providing a new treatment.
