Can a new Mind-Body therapy cure chronic pain for veterans?
NCT ID NCT07137715
Summary
This study aims to find out which type of talk therapy works better for veterans living with long-term back or neck pain. Researchers will compare a newer approach called Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT) against the standard Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and against the usual care veterans already receive. 360 participants will be randomly assigned to one of the three groups, with those in the therapy groups receiving nine weekly video sessions.
