Spinal shot trial offers hope for devastating cancer complication
NCT ID NCT06663306
Summary
This early-stage study is testing a new way to treat a serious complication of lung cancer where it spreads to the lining of the brain and spinal cord. Doctors are injecting two cancer drugs directly into the spinal fluid to see if it is safe and if it helps patients live longer. The trial is for adults with non-small cell lung cancer whose standard treatments are no longer working against this specific spread.
