New scan could sharpen the picture for rectal cancer treatment
NCT ID NCT05245786
Summary
This small, early study is testing a new type of imaging scan to see if it can provide a clearer picture of rectal cancer tumors. The scan uses a radioactive tracer that attaches to a protein common in these cancers. Researchers want to see if this scan, given before and after standard chemotherapy and radiation, can help doctors better plan a patient's treatment.
