First seen Jan 07, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study aims to see if a new imaging agent called [18F]RCCB6 can improve PET/CT scans for diagnosing kidney cancer, especially the most common type (clear cell renal cell carcinoma). About 300 adults with confirmed or suspected kidney cancer will receive the agent and undergo imaging. Researchers will measure how well the scan spots tumors and compare it to standard methods like CT, MRI, and FDG-PET.
