New scan aims to sharpen view of Hard-to-Spot tumors
NCT ID NCT06828588
Summary
This study is testing whether a new radioactive tracer used in PET scans can help doctors better see and identify tumors in patients receiving standard HER2-targeted cancer treatments. Researchers will give the tracer to 30 adults with advanced HER2-positive cancers and use PET scans to see if it improves tumor visualization. The main goal is to check the safety of this imaging approach while patients continue their regular cancer therapy.
