Could a simple uterine wash help catch ovarian cancer sooner?
NCT ID NCT04794322
Summary
This study is developing a new test to detect ovarian cancer at an earlier, more treatable stage. Researchers will collect a uterine wash fluid sample and a blood sample from 250 women before they have surgery. They will analyze these samples to see if specific genetic and protein markers can accurately tell the difference between ovarian cancer and non-cancerous conditions.
