First seen Feb 11, 2026 · Last updated May 02, 2026 · Updated 10 times
Summary
This study tests a new, non-invasive method to diagnose urethral stricture (a narrowing in the urine tube) using two simple urine flow tests. Currently, diagnosis often requires surgery or other invasive procedures. The study will enroll 60 men (30 with suspected stricture and 30 healthy volunteers) to see if this new calculation, called the Urethral Resistive Index (URI), can accurately identify blockages without any needles or cameras.
