Summary
This study tests an experimental MRI scan that uses a special contrast agent called hyperpolarized carbon-13 pyruvate to see how pancreatic tumors process nutrients. The goal is to find out if this scan can predict treatment response better than standard MRIs. About 70 adults with advanced pancreatic cancer will be scanned before and after four weeks of standard treatment.
