New scan aims to see lung scarring before It's too late

Summary
This early-stage study is testing a new type of PET scan designed to detect and measure collagen, the main component of scarring (fibrosis) in the lungs. It aims to see if this scan is safe and can accurately spot and track fibrosis in people with lung cancer, pulmonary fibrosis, or other lung conditions. The study will enroll up to 100 participants, including healthy volunteers for comparison.
