Scientists hunt for hidden clues in chest fluid to spot lung cancer sooner

NCT ID NCT07012759

Summary

This study aims to find new markers in the fluid that builds up around the lungs (pleural effusion) to help doctors better diagnose lung adenocarcinoma. Researchers will compare fluid samples from 100 patients with and without this type of lung cancer. The goal is to develop a more accurate test to tell if the fluid buildup is caused by cancer.
