Revolutionary One-Stop scan could transform liver disease monitoring
NCT ID NCT06265272
Summary
This study is testing a new type of medical scan that combines two imaging techniques (PET and MRI) into one session. The goal is to see if this 'one-stop' scan can give doctors a clearer, more complete picture of liver damage, scarring (fibrosis), and cancer risk in people with cirrhosis. Researchers will enroll 45 patients with cirrhosis to compare how well this new combined scan works compared to standard imaging methods.
