Scientists train Patients' own immune cells to hunt advanced cancers
NCT ID NCT07441889
Summary
This early-stage study is testing a new personalized therapy for people with advanced breast or prostate cancer that has spread and stopped responding to standard treatments. Doctors collect a patient's own immune cells, modify them in a lab to better target cancer, and then infuse them back into the patient. The main goals are to see if this approach is safe and if it can help control the cancer.
