NCT ID NCT07225621

First seen Nov 06, 2025 · Last updated May 03, 2026 · Updated 23 times

Summary

This study tests a new treatment for glioblastoma, an aggressive brain cancer. It combines an investigational drug (5-ALA) with a non-invasive ultrasound device to target tumor cells. About 103 patients who have completed standard therapy will be randomly assigned to receive either the active treatment or a sham procedure, while all continue standard chemotherapy. The goal is to see if this approach improves survival without worsening side effects.
