First patients to try new pill for Tough-to-Treat stomach tumors

Summary
This is the first-ever study in people for an experimental pill called IDRX-42. It aims to find a safe dose and see if it can help control advanced gastrointestinal stromal tumors (GIST) that have spread or cannot be removed by surgery. The study will enroll adults whose cancer has worsened despite prior standard treatments.
