Revolutionary microscope could spot eye disease before It's too late

NCT ID NCT02118922

Summary

This study is testing a new type of microscope that scans the cornea to measure its stiffness. Researchers want to see if this scan can better detect early signs of corneal weakening diseases like keratoconus and ectasia. They will compare scans from people with healthy eyes to those with these conditions, as well as people who have had LASIK or PRK surgery.
