Summary

This study tests a new portable DNA tool called MinION to quickly identify all bacteria and fungi in foot wounds of people with diabetes. Standard lab tests can miss some germs and take days, but MinION gives results in hours. The goal is to see if this tool can help doctors choose the right antibiotics faster for each patient.
