Early trial tests new shot to help bodies use insulin better

Summary

This study is testing a new drug, RO7204239, to see if it can help the body use insulin more effectively in people with type 2 diabetes who are also overweight or have obesity. It will compare the drug against a placebo (a dummy treatment) in 30 participants over 24 weeks. Researchers will measure changes in insulin sensitivity, blood sugar control, body weight, and muscle composition.
