New device aims to suction deadly lung clots

Summary
This study is testing a new medical device called the Aventus Thrombectomy System. It is designed to physically remove dangerous blood clots from the lungs of patients with a sudden, severe pulmonary embolism. The trial will enroll 130 adults to see if the procedure is safe and effective at improving heart function and reducing serious complications.
