Microwave device aims to spot hidden colon polyps
NCT ID NCT05988645
Summary
This study is testing a new microwave-based device designed to be used during a standard colonoscopy. The goal is to see if it can safely help doctors find more colorectal polyps, which are growths that can sometimes turn into cancer. The device is being tested in 50 patients who are already scheduled to have a polyp removed, to see if it improves detection without making the procedure more difficult or uncomfortable.
