Scientists test new 'Cancer Spotlight' tracer in early study
NCT ID NCT03164486
Summary
This early-phase study is testing a new radioactive tracer called 18F-αvβ6-BP to see if it can help doctors better locate cancer in the body. The tracer is given by IV, and then patients undergo several PET scans to see where it collects. The main goals are to check the safety of the tracer and see how well it finds tumors in patients with breast, colorectal, lung, or pancreatic cancer.
