New scan could predict best cancer treatment

NCT ID NCT05065736

Summary

This study is testing a new type of PET scan to see if it can help doctors predict which chemotherapy drugs might work best for a patient's metastatic cancer. A small number of participants with advanced cancer will receive an injection of an experimental imaging agent and then have a PET/CT scan. The goal is to see if the scan can show how the cancer processes certain drugs, which could help guide future treatment decisions.
