Could a 15-Minute scan revolutionize breast cancer detection?
NCT ID NCT04799535
Summary
This Mayo Clinic study is testing a new type of breast ultrasound to see if it can better find breast cancer and check if treatment is working. It involves 550 adult patients who either have a suspicious breast lump needing a biopsy or have been diagnosed with breast cancer and are undergoing chemotherapy. The main goal is to see if this new scan is as accurate as current methods like MRI and biopsy.
