Gentler brain zaps: new hope for Parkinson's patients

NCT ID NCT07340073

Summary

This early-stage study is testing a new way to use deep brain stimulation (DBS) for Parkinson's disease. It will see if a gentler, patterned electrical signal is safe and can help control movement symptoms like slowness, stiffness, and tremor. The study will involve 24 people who already have a specific type of DBS device implanted.
