New scan could reveal hidden details of brain tumors
NCT ID NCT05464992
Summary
This study is testing a new type of MRI scan, called CEST, to see if it can create better maps of brain tumors. It will be added to standard PET/MRI exams for 800 patients with glioma or brain metastases. The goal is to see if measuring the acidity (pH) inside tumor tissue can help doctors better understand the cancer and predict outcomes.
