Tiny tube could help kids with weak muscles breathe easier during sleep
NCT ID NCT05527652
Summary
This study is testing whether a small, flexible nasal tube can help children with weak throat muscles breathe better during sleep. Researchers want to see if this device reduces sleep apnea episodes and improves sleep quality for children who have trouble with airway blockage. The study includes children with conditions like Down syndrome who have obstructive sleep apnea and may not be good candidates for tonsil surgery.
