NCT ID NCT07268092

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tests whether wrapping the spinal accessory nerve with a porcine (pig) tissue product during neck dissection for head and neck cancer can prevent shoulder problems. About 74 adults who have not had prior neck surgery will be enrolled. Researchers will measure shoulder movement and patient-reported function before and after surgery to see if the wrap helps.
