Pig-Tissue wrap aims to shield nerves, ease shoulder pain after cancer surgery

NCT ID NCT07268092

Summary

This study is testing if a protective wrap made from pig tissue can help a shoulder nerve heal better after surgery to remove lymph nodes for head and neck cancer. The goal is to reduce post-surgery shoulder pain, weakness, and difficulty moving the arm. Researchers will measure shoulder movement and ask patients about their function and quality of life to see if the wrap helps.
