First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study looks at two types of nerve surgery to treat stubborn pain after amputation (phantom limb pain and stump pain). About 98 adults who have had pain for at least 6 months and haven't had prior pain surgery will be followed for 2 years. The goal is to see if either surgery reduces pain and improves quality of life. Participants fill out short questionnaires about pain and daily function.
