First seen May 10, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study tests a device that stimulates a nerve in the ear to see if it can reduce blood loss during surgery to place a dialysis graft. About 40 adults getting this surgery will be randomly assigned to receive either the active nerve stimulation or a sham (inactive) device. The main goal is to compare total blood loss between the two groups.
