Zapping away pregnancy restless legs: new device trial seeks relief without drugs
NCT ID NCT07144631
Summary
This study is testing if a small, wearable device that gently stimulates a nerve in the leg is a safe and practical way to manage restless legs syndrome (RLS) during pregnancy. Fifteen pregnant women with RLS will use the device at home for 8 weeks to see if it helps their symptoms and sleep. The main goal is to check if the approach is feasible and safe for both mother and baby, as many standard RLS medications are avoided in pregnancy.
