Zapping nerves to soothe the body and mind: trial tests two devices
NCT ID NCT07198542
Summary
This study aims to see if gentle electrical stimulation of a major nerve can help people who experience significant physical symptoms and excessive worry about their health. Sixty participants will try two different devices—one worn on the neck and one on the ear—for two weeks each, with a break in between. Researchers will measure changes in physical discomfort, anxiety, and body responses like heart rate to see which device works better.
