First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 36 times

Summary

This study tests whether a small device that stimulates nerves in the ear can improve mental wellness in first responders like police, firefighters, and EMTs. Thirty participants will use the device daily for four weeks and answer questionnaires about stress, sleep, and burnout. The goal is to see if this non-invasive approach can ease symptoms of mental fatigue and stress without medication.
