First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 12, 2026 · Updated 35 times

Summary

This early-stage trial tested a new combination therapy using a polymer called polyethylene glycol (PEG) to help fuse severed nerve endings right after injury. The study involved 45 people with cut digital nerves in the hand who had surgery within 72 hours of injury.
