First seen Apr 25, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 6 times
Summary
This study tests whether using nerve monitoring and a gentle electric tool during armpit lymph node removal can help surgeons find and protect small nerves that often cause long-term pain after breast cancer surgery. Six adults with breast cancer will take part. The goal is to see if this approach is possible and to measure how well the nerves respond during surgery.
